Command-line interface

A single static binary for running with automation, or through your coding agent with our MCP server below.

Install it and add it to your PATH. The script also installs Node.js for your user account when it is missing, and tells you which container engine is ready. It never asks for administrator rights.

macOS and Linux

curl -fsSL https://secureagentry.net/install.sh | sh

Windows (PowerShell)

irm https://secureagentry.net/install.ps1 | iex

What the scripts change, and how to undo it: the downloads documentation. Or download the binary for your platform:

MCP server

The Agentry MCP server drives the CLI above from inside your coding agent, so Claude Code, Codex or any MCP host can search the registry, verify a release, and install and run QuickAgents, behind the same consent the CLI asks for on a terminal. It needs Node 20 or newer and the CLI on the same machine. How to add it to Claude Code, Codex and other hosts by hand, and what each tool does: the MCP server documentation.

Install with your coding agent
Paste this into Claude Code, Codex or another coding agent. Click the card to copy it.
Install the Agentry MCP server for me:

1. Run the Agentry installer: `curl -fsSL https://secureagentry.net/install.sh | sh` on macOS or Linux, or `powershell -NoProfile -Command "irm https://secureagentry.net/install.ps1 | iex"` on Windows. Note the AGENTRY_BIN and AGENTRY_NODE paths it prints at the end.
2. Create ~/.agentry-mcp, download https://secureagentry.net/downloads/agentry-mcp-0.6.13.tar.gz into it, and unpack it there with `tar -xzf`.
3. Add it as a user-scope MCP server named agentry, replacing any existing one, using absolute paths: `claude mcp add agentry --scope user -e AGENTRY_BIN=<AGENTRY_BIN> -- <AGENTRY_NODE> ~/.agentry-mcp/agentry-mcp-0.6.13/dist/index.js` (in Codex: `codex mcp add agentry --env AGENTRY_BIN=<AGENTRY_BIN> -- <AGENTRY_NODE> ~/.agentry-mcp/agentry-mcp-0.6.13/dist/index.js`).
4. Tell me to restart this session. If the installer found no running container engine, also tell me one is needed to run QuickAgents locally.

The agent runs the installer above, downloads the file on the Download card, adds it, and asks you to restart the session. It tells you if no container engine, which local runs need, answers.

Run QuickAgents in your agent app

These installs use the host application's own MCP servers and built-in tools instead of the docker gateway path — the declared capability contract maps onto the host's tool vocabulary, and enforcement is the host's.

Claude Code
agentry install ns/name --provider claude

Installs as a Claude skill, with allowed-tools derived from the declared contract.

Codex
agentry install ns/name --provider codex

Installs as an AGENTS.md section plus the QuickAgent's files.

OpenClaw
agentry install ns/name --provider openclaw

Installs a Claude-format skill; OpenClaw consumes those today.
